The Wildlife Habitat cost share is designed to help landowners create habitat for wildlife through planting trees and shrubs. Species are chosen to benefit the wildlife in that area with resources like cover and food.

Wildlife Habitat Cost Share:
  • Site visit from Otsego Conservation District staff
  • Design assistance 
  • Species recommendations
  • Site prep recommendations 
  • 65% cost assistance up to $420.00 per acre
  • Minimum of 2 acres with a  maximum of 5 acres for project
