Soil Erosion

Patricia Osburn is our soil erosion officer for Otsego County.  If you would like to contact her, she can be reached by phone at 989-732-4021 or by email at [email protected]- you can also fill out a request using the form below.  If you would like to print a copy of the soil erosion application and waiver, you may do so by downloading the files below.  Applications and waivers are accepted in person, and also by email. 

Cost
Residential Soil Erosion Permit - $150
Commercial Soil Erosion Permit - $300 (1st acre), $50 for each additional area up to 1 acre
Cost to renew a permit for an additional year - $85
Shore-land Permit - $100

Inspection fee of $50 for notices of violation and for sites started without a permit.
