Soil Erosion
Kelly Draeger is our soil erosion officer for Otsego County. If you would like to print a copy of the soil erosion application and waiver, you may do so by downloading the files below. Applications and waivers are accepted in person, and also by email.
***Please be advised that it may take a minimum of 72 hours to process applications and perform the initial site visit after payment is made to receive your permit.
Cost
Residential Soil Erosion Permit - $150
Commercial Soil Erosion Permit - $300 (1st acre), $50 for each additional area up to 1 acre
Cost to renew a permit for an additional year - $85
Shore-land Permit - $100
Inspection fee of $50 for notices of violation and for sites started without a permit.
