Many of you are already aware of the MAEAP program for farmers, but did you know that there is now a MAEAP verification for forests?

Based on the Tree Farm program, the MAEAP FWH program is intended for anyone owning forestland that is actively managing their property and has a forest management plan that addresses all of the Standards of Sustainability.

If you are interested in getting your forest MAEAP verified, please contact Tabitha O'Dell at the Otsego Conservation District to get you started!
She can be reached at 989-732-4021 or by email at todell@otsegocountymi.gov
