Referrals for Landowners
If you would like to receive assistance on anything forestry related, please fill out the form below, call us (989-732-4021) or visit our service provider page that lists the resource professionals in the area that provide specific services
How Referrals Work
1. Landowners requiring assistance from the public or private sector will be referred by their Conservation District Forester (Joellen Saugrich) to a list of forestry professionals that can provide the requested service. (*Landowners please be aware that, while it is the job of the District Forester to provide lists of service providers, it is the sole responsibility of the landowner to do their research and decide which provider they would prefer to use.)
2. The District Forester will also post a referral number and description of the required service on this web page, as well as send out a mass email to the professionals in the area. If a forestry professional is interested in providing the requested service, they will contact the District Forester. The District Forester will then contact the landowner to notify him/her of a professional's interest in the job.
3. A follow up letter will be sent to the landowner to ensure that the requested service was provided.

Referrals for Forestry Professionals
Professionals interested in pursuing the project described below should respond to Otsego Conservation District by email or phone within two weeks of this posting. You may include additional relevant information in your responses pertaining to the project. I will then forward all contact information for responses received to the landowner. We encourage landowners to contact all of the consultants who reply in a timely fashion, but the choice remains with the individual landowner. Our office will follow up with landowners to ensure they get the assistance they need. Please contact me if you would like more information on any project or would like to be added to our referral list. Contact information: jsaugrich@otsegocountymi.gov or 989-732-4021.
